Ps3 For 399$ Coming, But Wont Play Old Games

“The consumer electronics giant (Sony) has announced that the U.S. is officially going to get the new 40-gigabyte PlayStation 3 model on November 2 priced at $399.99. The model forgoes PlayStation 2 backwards-compatibility in favor of a cheap(er) price, but still comes in $50 higher than the most common version of Microsoft’s Xbox 360, and $150 more than Nintendo’s Wii (assuming you can find one). Considering this more affordable version of the console also has Blu-ray playback, we think that the PS3 is finally starting to be a value proposition.” Link:Cheaperps3coming
